The role 

Horizons are looking for someone to come and work across the region as a part of our Investigations & Design Team within River Management. We are looking to fill a Team Leader position to help deliver a busy design program, this opportunity has in depth involvement in a range of projects using your design and modelling skills in a river management and protection environment. 

As a Team leader role this will involve leading the team and mentoring of less experienced staff in this area of work. This opportunity will see you involved with a range of work, including River Management designs and advice, assist with the design of works to provide flood protection, erosion control and river management benefits.

About you

Ideally you will have a background in Civil / Environmental Engineering, or Physical Geography / Science, and have experience relevant to river management and be computer literate; and have experience and competency in team leadership.
