The role:

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced administrator, with a flair for providing excellent customer service and administration support. This is a fixed term, part-time role until the end of November 2026. You will be working 20 hours per week, Monday-Friday 10am-2pm, based at our Marton Service Centre. The role is offered on a fixed-term basis to provide additional resourcing for the team during a period of increased demand.

We are seeking someone with strong experience across all aspects of administration and reception, who brings a well-organised and calm, level-headed approach. This role requires managing multiple tasks and responsibilities simultaneously while acting as the Marton office coordinator, so excellent organisational skills are essential.

As the first point of contact at reception, you will represent the organisation to our customers, making strong multitasking abilities and a solutions-focused mindset key. In this front-line customer service role, we are looking for someone who is positive and proactive with a ‘can-do’ attitude, whilst delivering first class customer service to Horizons external and internal customers. You will be required to:

  • Meet and greet clients and customers.
  • Respond to internal and external enquiries via email, phone and face-to-face.
  • Review and update databases.
  • Create reports, manuals and other documentation.
  • Perform general administration tasks.
  • Keep the Service Centre running smoothly, working with our assets and facilities team.
  • Support other departments.

About you:

We value a customer-first approach, a can-do attitude, and a genuine willingness to learn. You’ll be part of a supportive and positive team environment where colleagues work closely and collaboratively. If you’re motivated, detail-focused, and confident building relationships with a variety of stakeholders, we’d love to hear from you.
