We are building a Special Projects Team! This team will be made up of 4 talented individuals who will be responsible for processing, administering and monitoring the resource consents for significant infrastructure projects including the Manawatū Gorge replacement.
As part of this team we are seeking an experienced Senior Consents Planner who will be involved with the processing of resource consents associated with these projects. As a Senior Consents Planner your experience will include processing and managing resource consents of a more technical and complex nature, preparing and giving evidence before hearing panels and the Environment Court, and finding pragmatic solutions to issues within a regulatory framework.
You will be a self-starter who is customer and outcome focused. In addition to having an excellent understanding of the resource consent process and its practical application you will have excellent, communication, information, analytical, project management and problem solving skills. Previous experience in processing resource consent applications at a senior level is required.
For appointment at the Senior Consents Planner level, candidates will already have a significant breadth and depth of at least 5 years consent planning experience. Experience in preparing for and giving evidence at consent hearings and the Environment Court is essential for consideration of this senior position.
