Ngā Wai Tōtā is seeking an experienced and motivated Project Director to help lead an exciting programme of mahi that advances the aspirations of Te Waiū o te Ika. Working alongside iwi, hapū, councils and technical experts, you'll support the delivery of key initiatives, strengthen partnerships, and help turn vision into action.
We're looking for someone who can confidently navigate both the strategic and the practical, bringing a strong grounding in Te Ao Māori, tikanga, collaboration and project leadership.
You are a relationship builder, a trusted advisor and a capable organiser. You value kotahitanga (working together), lead with manaakitanga (care and respect), and are inspired by kaupapa that support the wellbeing the awa and her communities.

Please note: This fixed-term role is established to support the work of Ngā Wai Tōtā. While the role will report to the Chair and Deputy Chair of Ngā Wai Tōtā, the successful applicant will be employed by Horizons Regional Council, which will provide the employment framework and day-to-day employment support for the position.
