 The role 

Permanent part-time – 20 hours per week

Are you organised, detail-focused, and interested in how information is captured, managed, protected, and made accessible? We are looking for an ECM Information Officer to join our Business Services team and support the effective management of Council information through our internal Enterprise Content Management system (MS 365).

In this role, you will provide information and records management support across Council, helping ensure documents and records are accurate, accessible, secure, and managed in line with legislative and organisational requirements. You will respond to records and information requests, support staff in using this cloud based document system effectively, assist with reporting and compliance activities, and contribute to continuous improvement in information management practices.

  • A permanent part-time role of 20 hours per week, with flexibility for the hours to be worked ideally over 5 days.

About you 

  • You have experience working with SharePoint, Microsoft 365, or a comparable information management system.
  • You bring strong attention to detail and a commitment to accurate, high-quality information management.
  • You are customer-focused and confident in providing support, advice, or guidance to others.
  • You can manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and work well both independently and as part of a team.
  • You have an interest in records management, information governance, privacy, confidentiality, and continuous improvement.

Experience in records management, enterprise content management, archives, local government, or another regulated environment would be an advantage, but we are also open to someone with strong administrative, systems, customer service, and information management skills who is keen to learn.
