We are currently seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Data Entry and Project Support Administrator to join the Information Services team within the Regional Services & Information Group as part of Horizons' Digital Transformation Programme.
This is a 24-month fixed-term, full-time position based in Palmerston North.
This role has been established to support the implementation of IRIS NextGen, a major programme of work that will introduce new system capability and improve how information is managed across Council. You will play an important role in helping prepare data, support testing, develop training resources and assist project teams throughout the implementation process.
While data entry is an important part of the role, this position offers much more variety. You'll work closely with project teams, business users and subject matter experts to help ensure information is accurate, training materials are fit for purpose, testing activities are well coordinated, and projects have the administrative support needed to succeed.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data, is naturally organised, enjoys supporting others and wants to be involved in meaningful organisational change.
You are someone who enjoys keeping things organised, accurate and running smoothly. You take pride in producing quality work, have strong attention to detail and enjoy supporting projects that make a real difference.
You are comfortable working with data and systems, but you also enjoy working with people. Whether you're helping prepare training material, supporting testing activities, maintaining records or producing reports, you bring a positive, proactive attitude and a willingness to learn.
