The role 

Are you passionate for delivering outstanding Customer Service, able to multi-task and respond to changing demands effortlessly and looking for a new varied and challenging work environment?

We are looking for someone to join our Customer Services Team, based in Palmerston North for a permanent part time role.  You will be working from 9am to 1pm Monday to Friday. We are looking for someone with the flexibility to extend hours during our busy season.  You will join a team that is the first point of contact for a fast-paced, dynamic organisation that’s really making a difference to the Horizons Region. 

As one of our Customer Services Officer’s you will work side-by-side with the team, undertaking friendly, efficient and well-informed customer service to internal and external customers. In addition to this, you will also work with our leaders to ensure that the team is meeting internal requirements, fostering relationships with these leaders, developing and maintaining service initiatives, and being part of the team’s success! 

About you

You will be positive, assertive, computer literate and willing to continuously develop your skills and knowledge in a supportive team environment. Having experience in customer services with a communication and people skills is a must. 

You will be involved in the delivery of first class customer service face-to-face and over the phone, providing front line assistance on everything from trapping possums to interpreting flood level data, and lots more besides!
