The role 

Kickstart your career in finance! We're looking for a strong administrator with great customer service skills to join our team as an Accounts Receivable Officer. This entry-level role offers hands-on experience and room to grow within our finance team. This is a full time permanent position within our dynamic Finance team, where you'll play a pivotal role in managing our financial transactions and fostering strong customer relationships. 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Invoice Management: Prepare and issue accurate invoices in a timely manner.
  • Payment Processing: Record and allocate incoming payments to customer accounts.
  • Account Reconciliation: Regularly reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy.
  • Collections: Follow up on overdue accounts and resolve discrepancies.
  • Customer Service: Address customer inquiries and provide exceptional service.
  • Reporting: Assist in generating financial reports and maintaining records. 

About you

This position offers a unique opportunity for growth within our finance team and career advancement as you demonstrate your skills and dedication. You'll bring with you solid administrative or office experience, good Microsoft Word and Excel skills, and the ability to learn systems quickly. A “can do” attitude, great time management, and strong communication skills are a must.

Skills & Experience:

  • Accounts Receivable Expertise: Experience in managing accounts receivable functions, including invoicing, payment processing, and collections.
  • Administrative Proficiency: Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Ability to communicate effectively and maintain positive customer relationships.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel; experience with accounting software is a plus.
  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyse financial data and resolve issues promptly.
